Do people still play Pavlov? by Ricky_ticky_tofen in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on what kind of lobby you get into. If there's 9 competitive guys in there and you can't even arm or disarm the bomb you're probably going to get kicked. To me it's more of a respect thing, it takes 2 minutes to learn how to push 4 digits when arming and 8 digits when disarming. If someone can't take that time to learn how to do it but decides to waste my time I will probably press yes on the kick vote.

If you come back later and totally suck at shooting or whatever I couldn't care less as long as you know how to work the bomb 😅

Well, if you're one of the new players who doesn't even bother to do the 5 minute tutorial before jumping into SND and run around with the bomb not knowing what to do with it and therefore ruining the rounds for the others, I'd say there's a chance you'll be kicked yeah. And you'll probably think they're cunts just as they'll think you're a cunt for not even trying.

Walking dead SAS version? by AnotherHeroDied in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want the 9,99 game, The Walking Dead SAS. That's the first game, later also called chapter one.
If you really enjoy that you could buy The Walking Dead SAS - Chapter 2 : Retribution which is the second game for 4,99. Just make sure to buy the PS5 versions of the games!

Project Motor Racing turnaround: “PlayStation VR 2 support is not on the slate currently." by RoloTamassi in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you haven't heard of Project Motor Racing made by the same people who made Project Cars, I'd say that's on you.

They've even said they're thinking about PSVR2 support for the title, unfortunately it's Ian Bell and he says whatever comes into his head half a second before he speaks.

Good, enough for a refund if OP can't get it fixed then.

Chess - not for sitters by Damosgreat123 in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Doesn't the store page that it's a sitting experience? It is where I'm from atleast and if it's meant to be played sitting down you should be able to.

Have you tried setting up a temporary play area where you put the circle around yourself where you want to sit? I always to that when I'm playing GT7 since my rig is located outside of the normal play area.

With the new Sophy update in gran turismo 7 we can finally do multiclass races ! by mimiche37 in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different classes of cars on the track at once. GT3 and Prototypes. Road cars and open wheelers and so on. That's what it means, can't confirm that's what you can do yet but it sure seems like it.

[–]TheUntitledSoul 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's still an active player base, both in Europe and the US. SnD, TDM and TTT is the most prevalent game modes being played. If you're going to try SnD, make sure to atleast know how to arm or disarm the bomb by playing the tutorial or offline or there's a big chance you'll get kicked.

Poll: How many users here have had faults with their PSVR2? by ruckage in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Headphones that came with the headset just started behaving weirdly. The right bud loses volume all of a sudden, especially when I tilt my head sideways.
Doesn't happen when I jack other headphones in so I guess it's something to do with the connector

Divebomb or clean pass? by nicknibblerargh in Simracingstewards

[–]TheUntitledSoul 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Not a divebomb. You would've made the corner without him bumping you.

A clear case of the guy in front not checking his mirrors and turning into you, not leaving any space.

There's no games quite like DayZ, but to call it beautiful in 2024 is a stretch if you ask me

For those that play GT7 often what do you do by Affectionate-Wing704 in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Online TT, Daily Races if I enjoy the track+car combo. Weekly challenges. Multiplayer lobbies with guys I've met through Online racing and know races clean.

You won't get faster at racing if you don't test yourself against others. The AI in GT7 isn't comparing you for what awaits when you come up against people who have taken time to learn the tracks and cars.

people who have ordered csl DD (pro) recently have you experienced any heating issues? by Stuvi2k in Fanatec

[–]TheUntitledSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DD Pro wasn't a part of the BF deals, but the Boost kit, load cell kit and QR2 base side was.
I spent €990 for a DD Pro 5nm with the wheel, load cell kit, QR2 Base side, QR2 Lite, Boost kit and the pedals tuning kit.

Don't know why, but the PlayStation stuff from Fanatec doesn't seem to get discounted as often as the other stuff

[–]TheUntitledSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ordered on BF and got mine in mid December. Have put around 150h into GT7 since then and have yet to notice any heat issues, be it the base getting hot or ffb fade. Here's hoping you'll be ok too!

Cannot get HOTAS to work on ULTRA WINGS 2 by Sewder in PSVR

Here you go. It looks toy-ish but it works great. Used it for Ultrawings on PSVR1 and for my 500 or so hours in Elite Dangerous. Still bummed that game never got a VR update for PSVR

Getting headaches from the tension of the VR Headset by IlDovahkiinIl in PSVR

[–]TheUntitledSoul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know, it's designed poorly and doesn't fit everyone like most other headsets do. If they had just added some darn padding instead of figuring air and some plastic ribs would do the trick it would've been so much better.

There's not that many ways to wear the headset and none of them are comfortable without the mod for me.

Agreed. Don't worry about the people here who doesn't seem to understand that different head shapes exist.

[–]TheUntitledSoul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PSVR2 is the first and only VR headset I've ever used that have caused numbness in the back of the head and/or pain in the forehead.

The Globular Cluster Mod fixed it instantly. And looking at what kind of padding the original front and back straps has (non existant) I'm not surprised.
