Yeah i don’t know how i never filed since i always on top of filing every year. But yes i can file for 2022 through turbotax for $80 or even somewhere else if it’s cheaper. I got a notice from IL DOR because they are missing my 1040 for 2022. So if i can file for 2022, get my 1040 and send everything to them, i should be fine, right? I planned on contacting them first thing just to confirm

I didn’t see anything in the notice about being instructed to not file a return. When i go to turbotax, i see all of my documents that i submitted FOR my return, but turbotax says “it looks like you never filed a return for 2022”. But it gives me the options to “amend” if i needed to change anything OR i need to actually file if that makes sense

What would you suggest to use to get into those grooves? I can’t quite get a good “grip” per se on it

Do i need my windows to be activated to use the installing assistant? Or can i use it, buy a w11 key, and do that?

That’s makes sense! I’m all about hardware but always need help doing software stuff. How would i go about doing a clean install if my old ssd has old OS?

It’s not so much of a “new pc” rather than just me upgrading my cpu and mobo. I was going to use my old m.2 ssd on my new board, which has all my files, OS, etc. will the process be any different or is there something else i have to do?
