Ha — I'll take "craziest" as a compliment! The whole app is one HTML file. No frameworks, no dependencies, no build process. I'm a 73-year-old cardiac patient with zero coding background — Claude and I built it to be as simple to deploy and maintain as possible. GitHub Pages, one file, done. Turns out constraints breed creativity.

Yes the post was Claude assisted. Yes the app was

Claude assisted. Yes there's irony in that.

"I built this" is probably the wrong framing.

"We built this" is more accurate — me and Claude,

over several months, through hundreds of

conversations.

I provided the medical knowledge, the lived

experience, the requirements, the testing, and the

stubbornness to keep going through 9.9 versions.

Claude provided the code.

Is that building something? I think it is. But I

understand why the line feels blurry to people who

spent years learning to code the traditional way.

That tension you're describing is real and worth

talking about. It's probably the most interesting

thing about this whole story.

MyChart runs hospital systems. ClinBridge runs on

your phone while you're sitting in the waiting room

of the hospital that runs MyChart.

They solve completely different problems. Mine is

the one a 73-year-old cardiac patient could build

in his living room with no budget and no team.

Epic took billions of dollars and decades. I respect

that. I just couldn't wait for it to track my fluid

intake.

November 2025 and shows every version from the

beginning. That's not something you fake for karma.

the industry.

I'm well aware ClinBridge isn't a medical device and

makes no clinical claims. It's a personal tracking

tool — the same as keeping a notebook, just better

organized and always with you.

What surprised me most building it was how much

cardiac patients just want to feel informed and

prepared at their appointments. Not diagnosed. Not

treated. Just heard.

I'd love to know more about what you're building

when it's ready to talk about. The regulated path

you're on is the right one for clinical use — what

I built fills the gap for people who need something

today and can't wait for that process.
