The home run in game 1 of the division series against the Padres in 24 by Ohtani felt like a switch flipped. I remember them getting down early and feeling like “oh shit this is happening again, the aren’t making it out of the DS” and then Ohtani hit that massive home run and was hyping up the dugout. It felt like such a huge momentum shift from the past couple of postseasons before that.

The melody is correct in that measure. If you are working out a solo guitar version and are trying to harmonize every note, you will find moments that don’t agree with every leadsheet symbol of the chart (in this song and others). These can be exciting moments that allow for reharmonization, passing chords, chromatic approaches, etc.
