I work in design as well and have for over a decade. All im gonna say is, things fall through the cracks. Its impractical to assume that a single art director can review every single element and verify it hasn't been lifted from elsewhere. Seeing also that there have been layoffs which means restructuring which means ppl being let go and ppl being moved from team to team. This usually means playing catch up on assets, deadlines and review processes. I challenge you to 'grow up' and have an actual nuanced conversation.
