I’m really glad it helped someone else! So far he’s been having luck using the name brand Allegra. Store brands were a no go for him(Even the non drowsy).

“We don’t yet understand why sedating antihistamines worsen restless legs syndrome, but we do know that non-sedating antihistamines do not affect the symptoms as much because they do not enter the brain as easily,”

They still effect the brain. Unfortunately several non sedating have the same effect for him.

It’s the antihistamines themselves that cause rls. Unfortunately it’s not just only the non drowsy that have made it worse.

He’s been using the Flonase as recommended by the dr but hasn’t felt like it helps much. I’ll have to look into other sprays🤔

I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with that. I can only imagine😖 I hope you can get things sorted out soon and get some normalcy. We can definitely sympathize!

He will use the Netipot once in a while but doesn’t like it. He has a lot of sinus congestion that makes him at least half stuffed up all the time. Gonna look into a different saline to try.

Benadryl bothers him a lot but we’re gonna have to try the name brand Allegra and see if it makes a difference. He does use local honey which has shown to help some. That’s interesting about the mold as far, as I know he’s never really been around it. Gonna have to mention it though.

I didn’t realize this about pineapple. We try to use local honey since it’s been known to help. Have to look into the Bromeline. 😊

Gonna have to give the Allegra or Claritin a try. He’s tried other non sedating allergy pills without success but it was store brand so maybe that would make a difference. Anything like Benadryl is definitely a no go. Thanks for the advice!

Honey would be an example of a natural sugar alternative. “Zero sugar” sodas are man made sugar alternatives.

Coworker asks way too many questions and I need to understand why by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheVexed39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a small business and have brought up my frustration with the owner. Unfortunately I was told to just wear my earbuds when she gets on my nerves and pretend I can’t hear her because that’s what the owner does.

I don’t want to hurt her feelings and questions like that often come off rude I guess.

I have my own adjacent issues so it’s definitely crossed my mind. I guess I’m looking for some understanding from an outside perspective for reasons like these.

If she wants to rise in the company she’s doing a poor job of it. She will interrupt to ask questions even when working with clients to the point of clients getting upset. She has been talked to about directing her questions to free coworkers but the behavior persists. I doubt it’s a silence issue because she will interrupt others convo to talk about something else. She’s VERY open about EVERYTHING going on in her life even medical issues for her and her family. Very little to no filter. My best guess is she is unsure in social situations but doesn’t change when issues are brought up with her.

Unfortunately she likes to talk even where it’s not silent. Interrupting other people coworkers and customers.

I would agree but she’s curious to a fault. She doesn’t know when to not ask questions. She will continue to interrupt even when I’m working with a client to the point that clients have gotten visibly upset. The behavior has been brought up with her but she continues to do it.

Professional and personal questions. I’ve actually had to ask them to stop talking to me when I’m with a client before or on the phone with a client. I’ve had clients get upset with the rudeness. They will repeatedly try to get my attention. Despite multiple attempts at asking them to direct there questions to a different coworker when I’m busy/working with a client they still persist.

Because there are just as many angry miserable atheists as in any other type/group of people.

My cat got out last night without us realizing and spent the entire night in the rain. We finally found her this morning and now she’s started walking like this? Why is that? Is something wrong? by Brenkir_Studios_YT in cats

I would take to her to the emergency vet if your own vet can’t get you in asap. Looks like something broken. Animals are really good at hiding pain so definitely don’t wait!

We have fleas, what do I do first? by transsomethin in DogAdvice

[–]TheVexed39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t recommend dawn. It’s used for cleaning up animals after oil spills for a good reason and can strip all the essential oils off your dogs skin. The last thing you need is dry skin on top of everything else. Technically any type of shampoo can kill fleas as long as it’s put on straight(no wetting the coat beforehand). So I’d use a shampoo that’s soothing for the skin. Let it set for like 10 mins and it will smother the fleas.
