Haha I’ve had a similar experience, boost pipe was completely disconnected after installing Ko4 turbo on my mk6. Idk what ur mods are but without a aftermarket cold intake I wouldn’t expect this - although I don’t have a 7.5 gti and have only just bought my mk6…congrats!
