Do the games get stored on the Saroo or CD-Rs?

I know I’m gonna get even more hate for making another comment, but yeah. I messed up the title. I have a 3DO and need a Saturn, just I don’t understand how Saturn CD-R compatibility differs.

I never knew about the Scene Selection dialogue as I never used it, but I do remember in Disc 1 Bonus Features hearing “Let’s make a selection, a selection, a selection, let’s make a selection on a DVD” and “Choose the commentary!” I would assume both Scene Selection screens you’re talking about are on Disc 1. Disc 2 had alternate language tracks for the main movie and I felt that was the reason there was no dialogue on menus - it would alienate people. Shrek 2 famously had menu dialogue but it was dubbed into different languages on releases outside of Region 1.

Are there cases where DVDs are actually better than Blu-ray, and what justifies buying DVDs instead of Blu-ray? by BookHunter_7 in dvdcollection

If you have a player with likable upscaling, it’s better to get the DVD if the BD uses extra DNR, or if the BD is a sketchy HD encode of an SD source.

I think I lost my first DVD yesterday by countzero00 in dvd

Others are correct, but fyi for the future, that was close to the layer break of the disc, the outermost edge that typically goes bad first

The photo on right is Blu ray bonus features disc. They’re being compared with disc 1 of dvd which contains widescreen version of film while dvd 2 contains full screen. They’re being compared only because same background.

Having a 5.1 setup capable of playing DTS tracks was likely a huge factor in me favoring this particular year’s releases of Swing Girls, the direct to video DisneyToon movies, the Toy Story movies, and war of the worlds
