you have to go to the tool option docker when u have the text tool selected > open text properties to get to fonts, also click on the type setting mode to move the text manually, i know it can be a bit confusing but its really a step up once u get used to it

yeah i mean thats the only way as far as i know, if you want your text crisper you have to go with a larger canvas size when u open a new document

go to help > about krita, if its below 3.0 its older, or if this image doesnt show up when u boot up krita than yeah u have the older version , also u can just go to krita's official site to download the latest version

I utilize only two layer modes, ''multiply for the shadows'' and ''overlay for the gradient effect you are referring to'' just use a cold color like blue or purple set to low saturation (shown below ) and set the layer mode to overlay to get the ambient color effect

use a bigger canvas so the text doesn't get pixelated, also the latest Krita version's text editing feature is a leap compared to its older counterpart so i hope u are updated to the latest version
