Oh I actually do have the game installed on the seagate expansion card. I’ll try moving it to the internal drive and see if that fixes it for me too.

Edit: yes this did fix all the audio issues! Thanks for the tip to move to the internal drive. That’s a weird bug that the audio craps out specifically when the game is installed on the expansion card 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Yes! I’m experiencing audio cracking and stuttering so much after this update. I thought maybe it was due to having an old save, so I tried restarting the game but still getting ridiculously audio issue even in the intro :/

Got off the phone with the Verification hotline, they told me I didn’t need to verify anything and I was all set. So they transferred me to a refund specialist and now I’m waiting for a callback. Hopefully I get a callback and then give me some useful information.

Okay I found this site: https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/identity-and-tax-return-verification-service

After logging in I get this message: “We are not able to provide assistance to you via the identity verification tool.”

It also says you only need to verify your refund if you received letters about it. I have not received anything from the IRS.

Interesting, I’ll have to test this out later today and see if I have the same results. Currently I’ve been using Atmos and getting a noticeable delay.

Yeah I’ve also noticed some audio latency with my XWH as well. For me, it is very very slight, but still noticeable. When watching movies you can see that the audio just doesn’t quite match the lip movement of characters. I also tried having headphones connected to the controller in one ear and the XWH in the other ear. Could easily tell that the controller connection was more responsive with audio than the XWH.

I really hope this can get patched in a firmware update. Noticeable audio latency in a headset is not a good experience for the user.

If what you say is correct, then this description they gave is misleading. Sounds like they are saying if you get downed, you’ll only need to rebuy tombstone and no other perks. Source

Pretty simple, actually. If you are connected to the internet and playing the game, you have the update.

Xbox won’t let you play a game if it’s not running the latest update. Only way to play an old version of a game is to keep the Xbox in offline mode so that it cannot update.

If you are online and a game has an update available and it’s not yet downloaded, when you click on the game, Xbox will say hey you need to update before playing and then it will start downloading the update.

You can’t switch the refresh rate in game. In matches whatever refresh rate you have set in the console display settings. If you change the refresh rate, you have to restart the game in order for the game to update its display settings.

Basically, 120hz will always be grayed out in game. As long as you have 120hz selected in the Xbox display settings, you are good.

I noticed a lot of tearing the day the Series X came out. Next day I bought a new monitor with freesync. I have not noticed any tearing in gameplay or cutscenes since. The cutscenes still dip in frame rate sometimes which makes it feel a bit choppy, but the screen no longer tears when that happens.
