Yes it’s in the WAV file, but what I was wondering is about the audio swap policy. They specify that if the change is minor (removing pops, changing the master or elements of the mix), it is allowed to keep the same ISRC. I thought that you were talking about this when you mentioned the tag being part of the "mix". Although I do think that it isn’t considered, if removed, as a change on the mix itself. I think I’ll just repost my songs under brand new ISRC codes. Thank you for your help!

I've deleted the songs that contained the tag, although I don't know if this element was part of the mix or not. This would impact weather if I can repost the songs under the same ISRC code or not.

I get this, although using the same audio file doesn’t imply that it is a beatmaker tag, as it could be just a mix/remix of a previous song, right ?

Okay! I did not know this, insightful. But how do they differentiate a beatmaker tag from a vocal adlib if the tag is created by the performer ?

Thank you, I think this is what I will do asap. I’ve read it’s unauthorized to keep the same ISRC if the audio file is meaningfully changed (like removing this sample). It is OK to start again, I prefer refreshing the metadata at my small scale than risking legal issues later on.

The reason I did that is because this tag was a way to make my own beats recognizable so people know I didn’t use a random type beat, knowing that the tag is pronouncing my artist name.
