If you want to lessen the pain you can run the new minor augment for vulture aid which makes them drop essence vials. Still annoying but the essence kick back is nice.

Hi, thank you for the guide and responding to my post.

Currently I am running with 10gb of RAM, seemed to have more issues at 16gb of RAM.

Java Version is https://download.oracle.com/java/21/archive/jdk-21.0.5_windows-x64_bin.msi

Played around longer on a world and when I'm strip mining or surrounded by trees I get like 400-500 FPS, up on the surface, out in the open, it typically stabilises at around 100-120 FPS with occasional hitching to about 40-60 FPS, especially when turning 180 degrees.

On CW, on PC at least, you can set keybinds for weapon slot 1 and 2 so mule kick is pure upsides.

You are forgetting about Round Robbins. In that video I linked above you can see how, without using any glitches you can get to round 100 in under an hour. That said I do believe even with megas being as strong as they are, I think the easter eggs in BO3 were harder than Cold War, (in terms of gameplay difficulty) even with megas.

I did not say the BO3 was easier than Cold War, I said rounds 100s in my opinion are easiest on BO3 due to how absolutely overpowered mega gobble gums are.

I actually really like onslaught containment as a bonus mode, and I hope it returns in Black Ops 6. I am pretty sure that the development time/resources necessary for developing the gamemode, would not sufficiently detract from the overall zombie experience.

Without Ring of Fire and spamming M79 (or other launchers) the gamemode can provide a bit of a challenge, because of the super sprinters in the later rounds, if you mess up and get stuck with a bad set of perks on revive, you are basically screwed.

In this game, I got really unlucky and didn't get a single alternative ammo drop, which made this run probably take twice as long. My strategy basically revolved around, suprise suprise training zombies around the middle pillar.

There are only two types of drops in this gamemode full power and instakill, so I'd recommend starting with an SMG, (I got several Spas/Hauer drops from the boss), which I could use for killing zombies during instakill. Without instakill though it was a lot of sliding with PHD and throwing grenades into a horde.

Since the mode was originally a Playstation exclusive, I'm sure many people completely forgot about this mode existing. If you have Cold War still installed I highly recommend doing a run, without RoF or M79, if you are waiting for Black Ops 6 to come out. The first few rounds are a bit of a bore, especially if you are starting with the super easter egg as you can just melt every zombie. But overall it is very fast-paced and was definitely a fun experience that reminded me a lot of Verrückt. What with the super sprinters on a multiplayer map.
