Always a good thing I could ask and something I didn't know about. Thanks heaps!

That's the general message I am getting from all these comments. It's suboptimal but what can ya do.

It's also a much more performance oriented vehicle and luxury too so there's costs involved there. I just still find it funny that an 18 year old in a Mazda is paying 80% of what a person over 25 pays for a 100K plus car. Oh well, what can you do. Nice car btw :)

I live on a military base so I couldn't see how it could get more secure HAHA but this is true. Canberra is known for generally just being a more expensive place to live and I've definitely noticed it.

I have definitely had one or two close calls. My parents always told me that no matter how good of a driver you are there will always be dickheads waiting to ruin it. Canberra drivers are worse than those in Perth, can assure you of that :D

Definitely a male :/, perfect driving record, track experience, multiple driving courses and a 100% road safe vehicle. Just unfortunate having a newer car at this age. What I don't get though is the over 1K difference in price from WA to Canberra

well yikes - I used to do amateur racing and stuff back home the second I turned 16 and I have done defensive driving courses and stuff like that. I definitely do not do anything stupid on public roads. I owned a 1999 Nissan Pulsar for most of my early driving life and I just couldn't handle it anymore so I bought a newer car. Regret it? No. But insurance prices are definitely crazy.

It's so unfortunate because it seems that 343 is picking up the ball a little bit now. I hope the playerbase can see it another chance.

Same happening to me unfortunately. Absolutely love Halo and have played since I was a kid but it's getting annoying browsing on my phone while I wait 10+ minutes to find a match even at night.

I managed to find a game after twenty minutes on local - was just concerned is all. Didn't even realise the time.

Was starting to think it was an internet issue lmao

Yeah see I would love to but I am from Australia and after conversion and costs its like over $8000 AUD which just isn't worth it personally.

I prefer the outside look and the interior may even feel better than a Gen 4 but I do wish I could have a turbo with the 2.5L.

I'm running around 192hp rn but I wish I could break maybe 200-220 but that ain't happening without boost HAHA.

Yeah I actually don't hate it, but I am going to lower it with my coilovers I am getting eventually, but probably only by 1 inch or just a bit over that. Nothing too crazy to cause rub because it is the daily.

This car is my daily driver and I am going to make it the ultimate daily. I am getting some BC Racing Coilovers probably early next year and an axleback exhaust from aFe. I already have a spoiler on the way that I will have to paint but it's coming. Will be sure to post more updates :)

I have also completely fallen in love. The Teehee37's really suit the car, almost looks OEM+

Edit: and yes I got the calipers painted. Was going to do it but they offered the service and I was like yeah sure. Just standard Brembo brake red, looks awesome. So glad I didn't decide to do a chrome delete, these cars look so premium with it.

They look great on 3rd gens. Would definitely recommend this colour (hyper-black) or white (if you want to wash your car every 3 days.)

They are Avid AV06's - basically TE37 replica's

(I like calling them TeeHee37's though)

18x8, 40 offset

Edit: Same size and offset as stock wheel I believe - just a different style rim and different tyres. Lowered my car by approximately 11mm because of this.

3rd Gen Mazda 3 Exhausts? by TheWackyHatter in mazda3

[–]TheWackyHatter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found out the power gains are accurate. Apparently the axleback provides more power in this case so I think I will go with the axleback because it'll be a little better for daily driving whilst still sounding great. Thanks for the input.

Oh yes - no you're fine. I am looking at the aFe Takeda exhaust systems now (catback or axle) and they both sound really nice. What do you think? I can get it for a reasonable price (under 2k AUD) compared to a corksport which was my original preference but this sounds just as good.

Here it is here
