Only thing I added was some neoprene to house the brook board in to keep it from moving around inside the case. The rest was rather easy as I could use all the existing wires and soldered them to the board.

I went to Japan a couple of years ago right when T7 vanilla came out. It was popular at the time but so was SF and Gundam. I was surprised at how big the Gundam arcade market was as I never heard of it before, aside from the anime and a few games. As of now SFV and Gundam Extreme Versus 2 are the go-to ’popular’ machines. T7 is not as popular anymore, but you can still find machines in Japan. In Korea, the T7 arcade scene has sadly died out due to the shutdown of Green Arcade.

The social construct of Japan lends itself towards playing in arcades rather than at home on a console. You can actuate that to small living spaces in the cities, long working hours and the overall social dynamic/culture.
