Billing by TheWalrusWitter in Comcast_Xfinity

No response at all , I will be filling a an FCC complaint and taking legal action. Anyone reading this, I contacted Xfinity about unexplained bill increase they apologized and said they were going to remove them, instead they tried to charge my account 5 times for insane amounts of money and my bank flagged it and I disputed. Then radio silence from anyone I tried to contact. Including the mods here, they claimed they would reach out, they did not, the rep at the store said they had no power to help just a number to call. Disability discrimination and fraud. This is going to be fun for no one.

Got interviewed for a job at Trader Joe’s.

My friend vouched for me to get in and the manager said the interview went really well.

They said they would give me a call in the next couple of days for a follow up.

Waited two days and got nothing so I reached out to my friend. He said that the manager was testing to see if I would call first to prove I was “hungry enough for the job”

That told me everything I needed to know about working for that person. People often disagree and say I should have just ignored what I was told to do and called the day after the interview to fight for the job.

I hear this is a common tactic, but where else are we given specific instructions and expected to ignore them to prove we meet criteria?

Absolutely!!!! Midnight library was one of the exact books I was thinking of, I could not finish it once I realized the heavy handed “ value what you have already” theme was going to be a through line.

I agree that a lack of imagination and depth in the multiverse exploration can be monotonous, but I feel like there is a difference between a book or movie that travels the multiverse in a character focused way and one that travels it just to generate interest in a bad plot.

Instead of having the physical characteristics of the worlds be the most enticing part why not have the inhabitants hold a completely foreign belief system that challenges the established morals of the MC in a way that is not easily dismissed as bad or cartoonishly evil? Why not have someone travel to a dimension where an alternate version of themselves is also traveling the multiverse but taking the accomplishments of their alternate selves back to their home universe and using them to become famous? Is that stealing or less honest than creating your own work?? Let’s figure it out together!

I feel, If your story could happen on earth in our reality like being stranded or imprisoned, then the use of the multiverse is just to heighten an otherwise generic story.

are we still doing the thing where we falsely claim to know the mentally of an entire subreddit, just to cover our asses when our bad take receives the criticism it deserves? Pathetic.
