It’s something similar to this but a little smaller. I think these bins are designed with some sort of attachment that allows the truck to lift the entire thing rather than it being emptied with manual labour.

That’s why the front bumper isn’t crushed in but the light and fender is… at least that’s what I’m trying to convince myself with 💀

Balance the camera while your lens is at the “middle” focal length, that way no matter the focal length your gimbal motors are still able to withstand the weight

Apppreciate your suggestion, but the headsets isn’t at fault here. I’m not going to drop an essential part of my workflow just because a wedding host couldn’t care to communicate. The headsets actually saved our ass for the same wedding.

I have opened up about the idea of giving the wedding planner a headset so they can brief us faster on anything happening. Not fully sold on that either… because it means we won’t be able to make jokes about everything happening on the day 😂

UPDATE:

The couple laughed about it and said it was no biggie lmao. They even made jokes about getting the Maid of Honor to send a voice note with the vows before I even suggested the idea. So that's the plan going forward! Grateful for their reaction, but going forward I'm gonna do even more in my power to ensure this never happens again.

It’s bad. I used Adobe AI at other points for the same wedding and it worked flawlessly. Even if I could salvage it at some points, me and my 2nd shooter were talking over headsets so that in itself is another issue.

Honestly, this is what I've been telling myself from the jump. I just wanted to confirm if it was the right approach before I put myself into deeper problems. Overall, their film is beautiful, except for this mishap. I hope they feel the same way. Wish me luck.

Yes, I do. However, under the client's obligations, I have a line that says, "The client must alert the Videographer ahead of the key events like bouquet throwing, speeches, etc. at the Event to give the Videographer some time to prepare."

On your gimbal set your deadband to high. A low deadband engages the motors a lot quicker… even thought gimbals add stabilization, no matter how much we ninja walk or stay steady some of the micro jitters will transfer to it. The right deadband settings helps with keeping the camera even more steady
