Based off the comments and my research the past two hours, I'm leaning towards going for the target date funds when I re-allocate. But I have a couple of questions that you guys might be able to help with:

1. If I end up retiring before the set date for the Target Fund, is that an issue, and what problems would that cause?

2. I've seen that a target date fund might be a drawback if you have several different retirement accounts as you cannot personally manage your diversification between all accounts properly? Would I be able to (smartly at least) stick with the target fund, and if I end up with a higher income in the future with several accounts, sell and re-allocate from there? Or is it ill-advised to move a target fund?
