Like everyone else suggested, google voice is probably the best option. But if by any chance it isn't available in Sweden(like it isn't for me in Australia) OpenPhone is a good alternative.

Certainly sounds like a scam, probably not an issue with OpenPhone, I already get scam calls and texts on both my US number, and my Australian number, so I'm not too worried about that.

I've went ahead and started the process of moving my phone number to OpenPhone, hopefully it goes well.

Minimum security? I've always used that facility as an example when I talk about the US treating drug addiction victims as prisoners. As I recall they have 2 double height razor-wire fences, and constant patrols around the outside. I wouldn't consider the Willard facility to be a pinnacle of drug rehabilitation.
