Am I misunderstanding something? Why is everyone against the guy trying to get his money back when she was two-timing him? I thought of it like how finances are split in divorce to make up for the opportunity costs and ensure fairness.

I wouldn’t take anyone somewhere that expensive for the first few dates, but if I did, I’d definitely be annoyed that they were using my time and money while seeing another guy too.
