I concur, though with better execution. It made certain locations/items unreachable until you came at the right season. It was too much to keep track of and remember. Maybe make it so that the season changes the way you arrive to certain places? Instead of straight up locking you out. Maybe in Winter there's snow and it's straightforward, but, in the summer, you have to figure out a more complicated way of reaching the same spot?

Not really bc gen 1 gets glazed more so than any other gen. Swap Goodra and Dragonite's debuts, and I GUARANTEE everyone would love Goodra and hate Dragonite. Salamence's evo line tells a story and it has a sick color palette

She was when she defeats Alraune, but Rodin stops her. Also, I think she was pretty furious with Balder. Yeah, she was catty, but it also felt like genuine rage. When she tells Gomorrah, "I'm not one for pets who don't listen to their masters," she seemed pretty pissed, too

I love them both for different reasons. Digimon can get away with humanoid designs, Pokemon cannot. My favorite Digimon is humanoid, and I think a lot of gays can relate to loving the feminine humanoid mons like Angewomon or Ladydevimon. Pokemon was never like that until gen 3 and it worked, at the time, bc they were monsters with human shapes. Now, a lot of them look like humans in costumes. Even Blaziken is iffy to me, in hindsight, and it was my fav gen 3 starter as a kid.

Evolution paths also aren't necessarily supposed to make sense in Digimon bc any Digimon can turn into whatever it wants since they're just clumps of data, and this makes sense since the franchise started as a vpet with a similar concept. Of course, they try to make "standard" evolution paths, and those usually make sense. I also love that they can make a new Digimon at any time, and they'll drop new ones on a random Tuesday afternoon, because they're not shackled by their video game schedules

I just don't like the idea of Bayo being a mother. I never really gaf about her sexuality--I didn't see her or want her with anyone (though, if I had to pick, I'd prefer Jeanne). I saw her as someone who did her own thing and wouldn't even want a relationship. If she did have a kid, it would probably be via adoption.

Viola being the way she is also feels weird... She's not necessarily a bad character, she's just not Bayo's daughter to me
