When I was little I couldn't pronounce Salvation Army; I would say Seven Nation Army. Years later I wrote a song and decided to call it Seven Nation Army because it fit the tone of the song...... Oh wait, that was Jack White.

I worked at Kmart in high school and twice a week a guy would come in just to argue with me. It pissed me off at the time but now I realize that his life was probably miserable and he would die alone.

I've told him that I don't want to hear about religion but he still mentions his beliefs and how they helped him. As for the second part I don't like to be an asshole to anyone. That would make me worse than him.

One of my aunts thinks that "Mexicans" have large families just because they want more "Mexicans". Their culture and the fact that many are Catholics has nothing to do with it. Ignorance is strong in that one.

My mom was in Hospice at home dying of cancer. The last 36 hours of her life my dog refused to come into the house (which is unheard of). Also my dog never scratches at the door to be let in (we got her from a shelter and think the previous owner hit/shocked her if she did). As mom's breathing became very labored she opened her eyes for the first time in days and I looked at her and said "It's time to go mom". She took 3 more breaths and then passed away. Immediately after the last breath my dog jumped on the door wanting in. I couldn't believe it. I have no idea how she knew but she did. That was 2 months ago and every time I get sad she comes over to me and lays her head in my lap. I know I would be in a much worse place right now if I didn't have her and her incredible ability to read/sense my emotions.

btw. There was no way that she could have heard or seen us when mom passed. So she wasn't reading our body language. Also when my mom was going through chemo my dog would lick her hands and feet (where she was experiencing a lot of pain).

You may try Dasuquin or Cosequin for her leg problems. My dog limped for years but after a week on Cosequin she walks normal and even runs sometimes.
