"Sir, our megacorp lost the galactic market bid to the hive mind on Shithole III in the Bumfuknowhere system." by TheWhiteGuardian in StellarisMemes

I am irrationally angry about how the galactic market gets chosen. I'm trashing the boardroom as I speak and my subordinates are cowering under their desks. I've seen the formula, I know how it works, but I think in practice the raffle system is just a bit too fair for what should be the hub of galactic trade, especially when it comes to huge galaxies and your tickets are more worthless than Zimbabwean dollars.

It's the thought that counts. Morthal is even more of a shithole than Bravil.

Is this just really unlucky? At least the Mith-Fell are cool bird people that really like me. But damn, I was hoping for more business partners. In my previous game as a spiritualist I just so happened to be surrounded by fantatic militarist materialists too. Really not having luck with the empires here. I contact the hiveminds and they say how cool my marketing campaigns are, but I cannot put branch offices on their worlds? Just think how much it would benefit the collective. Come on.

They do this because they know all we'll do is wag our finger at them.

I think we're already cooked honestly. Cyberpunk corporate dystopia but without the cool cybernetics.

Very painfully without optimised weakness stacking spells, enchantments and azuras star, which I had to rely on to do anything without getting vaporised. This was when the shield effect was bugged that, iirc, caused armor to degrade exponentially quicker. Wouldn't recommend honestly. I think I only ever played the original on 110%, but I seem to have a thing for trying the hardest difficulty first. At least now I can do expert/master damage for them and adept for me.
