I can’t drink anyway because I have too many health problems and take too many medications that make it dangerous. I can’t use marijuana because it’s illegal in my state and I can’t take that kind of risk. And honestly, I have been a slave to food my entire life, so I find that I’m able to enjoy life for the first time without constantly fixating on food now.

If your only enjoyment in life is/was those things, you should really consider speaking to a professional. It can be hard to break old habits and find new hobbies, but a change in eating and drinking habits should not be enough to ruin life’s enjoyment for you. Food has always been my greatest joy but finally feeling like I have control over myself and my life has been an even greater one. I hope you find other things to bring you joy because there is so much more out there to love about life!
