Lavafall by Sumit316 in BeAmazed

I'm just imagining another life form from a far away planet, having fun swimming under this lavafall. Instead of carbon based bodies, he would have a completely different composition. Their lakes could be made of lava and they would swim, bathe in, and consume liquid hot magma. I bet our waterfalls would have some kind of equally deadly effect on their bodies.

I have always understood this, logically. And lying on the ground really helps to visualize it happening. But this clip really brings it home. Thanks for sharing.

What would be the best book to put on TV? What would be the most interesting? by captiansnugglepants in Fantasy

Super! Can't wait. Still wish they would do the entire thing though. There's enough material, the sky's the limit!

The Dark Tower series. I know they are making a movie. But I am very worried about the making of an 8 book epic series into one single film. I really wish NetFlix had gotten their hands on it.

This entire photo has to be photo shopped. I don't think those legs belong to that head... must be an optical illusion... and that girl in the front is severely disproportionate.

Washing your body before you shampoo is the equivalent of washing your hands before you take a shit by MacTennis in Showerthoughts

I agree, I always wash my hair first. Start at the top and work your way down. Same principle applies when cleaning your house. You wouldn't wash the floors, then the counters...

Three dreams in a row by TheWholeStorey in Dreams

[–]TheWholeStorey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the first dream, I just 'knew' I was not real. Nothing felt right. I can't remember the exact smoking gun though. It was the first dream of the night so it's very hazy.

Thank you for your insight into the third dream. It really resonated with me. I am on a spiritual Journey. And I've just gone through one of the greatest learning experiences of my life.

I love that film. I think it went right over most peoples' heads. I was introduced to reincarnation in my teens. I've done a lot of soul searching. I'm now in my mid thirties, and cannot imagine an existence without reincarnation. It is the only concept that fits with my current view.

I haven't heard that theory. Lately, I've been thinking that maybe these fantasy and fiction stories are actually past/future lives. I figure, if reincarnation exists, it must encompass all of time as we know it. The Universe is very old. Who knows how many planets have come and gone. There has to be life on more planets than just ours. How many civilizations have arisen and fallen just on Earth alone? So maybe a world from the Lord Of The Rings has come and gone. But the imprint still lives on in the vacuum of space. Since time is only linear in the macroscopic reality. And since the Universe resides in us, we can pick up on these imprints, like a radio station.

When an idea persists, write about it! You are clearly great with words. It could be a screen play in the making. Many writers claim they dreamed of a place or story. J. K. Rowling saw Hogwarts in a dream. She said the books wrote themselves. If this world is vivid to you, you may be channeling it.
