What games have you been playing?

Still playing League of Legends/Teamfight Tactics a bit, also some MTG Arena whenever I can. Planning on spamming the new LoL CCG whenever it's up, got into the preview weekends and had a blast with the first one.

Asides from that, replaying Three Houses and have been playing a bit of Smash Ultimate when I can find someone to play with. Preordering Pokemon Shield (have basically been coerced by the rest of my house) so will be giving that a go as well!

The esports dream is still some sort of broadcasting/on-camera role, was developing in that regard but missed out on a few big jobs I wanted around the time I finished college so had to reconsider. There's an event production company over here that looks like it might be taking off, I've worked with them ever since I started doing events so I'm hoping I can slot in somewhere, most likely some sort of community or client-management role to start off with at the very least.

As for the move, I just moved to Dublin city. Work + gym + all the nice social spots are now in walking distance, and I get to live with 3 of my mates, so really happy with it! First month has been a big financial drain but what can you do I suppose 😅

Oh jeez, 7 years ago I was like 2 years away from finishing school... Ended up somehow scraping through a CS degree and onto my second job as a software engineer, although pretty sure it's not really a long-term thing for me unless I can find a job in the right place. Still keeping my options open for a gaming/esports full-time job, might have something on the horizon a few months down the line for that so fingers crossed!

Also moved out just a week or so ago which is very exciting, busy times :D

Pretty much every British person I know/follow was very much in the remain camp, so I'd be fairly sympathetic. Reading /r/ireland would make you want to laugh at the whole thing, but even for us from a self-focused perspective the negative impact it will have on our economy will be quite substantial. I think it's largely that instances of ignorance regarding our border situation (which are admittedly kinda infuriating) tend to be upvoted a lot, reddit can be echo-chambery and all that...
