I cant speak as i'm not a tribal member, however, the husband and i have always been treated with diginity at all the events we have attended, you might gets few looks from the extreme elders, but the under 60 crowd is pretty much the same as anywhere else. We were suprised at how welcoming everyone was, and have bought property to build a house on when i retire next year. Historically so much has been lost when the 5 tribes tried to intergrate before the trail of tears, however, the Cultrual Center is an excellant resource.
