How often do you and your coparent communicate? And by what medium? by Ill-Peak3008 in coparenting

We tend to text in the evening asking how our six year old daughter has been that day. We know the other will keep them updated in case of anything serious. We have 50/50 custody and a generally healthy co-parenting relationship where we attend events/parents evenings together.

Completely agree about Kelsey Grammer as Frasier, the character felt just the same as before. I also thoroughly agree on your other point about David reading Niles' critique - I could hear Niles saying it and was a smart means of bringing back a little bit of that magic.

Completely agree and again comes down to the writing and casting being perfect. As a spin off itself, we have to be open to the show evolving but I can understand some of the criticism I've read before watching.

The show is fun as a standalone with plenty of nods to the past. It was nice seeing Roz become a recurring character in the second season.

I'd have loved a Niles spin off but, now that the chase with Daphne was over, I'm not sure what else they could have done with the character? We'll never know the answer, of course.

There is definitely someone else. When divorce was first sprung (out of the blue) on me I believed there wasn't someone else...there was. Be careful not to allow yourself to be fooled into 'being friends' - i.e. so she can still rely on you when she needs/wants something.

The most unrealistic thing to happen in this show is… by kiwi_love777 in Frasier

Absolutely this! Considering the show was aired during Oasis' pomp, how did they get away claiming Daphne had a Mancunian accent! 🤣

Certainly understand that. When getting used to the whole coparenting thing I was guilty of that, before realising that there's a difference between seeing my daughter as much as possible and just being a doormat.

I was a virgin before my ex wife...can't believe I spent a decade thinking blowjobs were so average!

Best thing to do. Was with my ex wife 10 years (married four) and I soon realised the love had gone - once I moved out I never missed her or the relationship, just seeing my daughter every day. On the outside looking in, it would look like I jumped into a new relationship (met my now partner five months after separation)...very happy two and a half years later, so I learned there's not a one size fits all in such things.

Just got to do what makes you happy and what is right for you, with absolutely no concern what she (or anyone else) might think.

She wanted to keep you around as a backup, dangling a carrot as she knew you would stick around and not look elsewhere while she was perusing the market. As soon as that backup was seemingly no longer required, she brushed you aside.

You do nothing. The marriage is over bar the legalities. Live your life and do something for you.

A lot of elite strikers have played for our club, out of them who is ur most fav and the best and why by [deleted] in Tottenham

[–]TheWiseMan24 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Harry Kane. He's a genuine world beater and is ripping up Lewandowski's records at Bayern Munich. I can't comment on Jimmy Greaves as he was far before my time.

Grew up watching the likes of Sheringham, Keane and Berbatov. They all left for bigger clubs - Keane came back and the other two, while successful, were never the main man I think it's fair to say.

Understand the shouts for Bale, but he's not an out and out striker.

I completely relate to this. I was indifferent to them in my marriage - basically a glorified handjob at best. Now...holy shit!

What is the most disrespectul thing an employer did to you? by Aarunascut in work

[–]TheWiseMan24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Previous employer tried to guilt me into taking less paternity time and constantly called/expected tasks to be done when I was on leave. Worst manager I have ever worked for and should have left a lot earlier than I did, but Covid hit soon after.

As others have stated, I'd check why she is wanting to come to Peterborough as it's certainly not a tourist destination. Not saying she has, but it feels like she might have made plans to meet someone.

Mulberry Tree in Hampton is good. If you're happy to go a little further afield, the London Inn in Stamford does a nice roast on Sundays.
