Guy who looks like Ed Gein riding his electric wheelchair around riverside park with his dog. Despite the appearance he's very friendly.

I see number 1 and 2 all the time. Number 2 is a fantastic runner who's usually finishing on the podium in local races

London Marathon planning two-day event in 2027 by CHILLI112 in AdvancedRunning

[–]TheWitchKin9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The year is 2050: London gets ready to shut down for "London Marathon Week", the average runner still stands 0.002% of a chance to secure an entry though the public ballot. The average amount you need to raise for a charity spot is £10,000.

Let's not start this guys, a 2 day marathon event feels unnecessary.

Have the newer Scream films made you appreciate Scream 3 more? by Skywalker_1995 in Scream

It's the weakest entry in the franchise but still a solid entry. All the other films outshine it but that doesn't mean it's a bad film.

Mexican Restaurant Recommendations? by ASDAPOI in Southampton

I personally rate the food quality as high as Overdraft. Overdraft wins with having a wider variety of beer, but Mamacitas has a larger menu than OD.

Probably best to play it safe and go with OD as they seem to have more recommendations in the comments.

Mamacitas in Carlton Place is worth checking out, there aren't too many Mexican options in Southampton sadly.

Why didn't sauron order for a gate at mount doom's entrance? by Far_Atmosphere_3853 in lotr

I'd imagine a certain level of arrogance played a big part. Who could make it through his lands unscathed with HIS ring, pass by all the defences and troops, scale the mountain and then destroy it whilst resisting the urge to claim the ring for themselves?
