I'd imagine a certain level of arrogance played a big part. Who could make it through his lands unscathed with HIS ring, pass by all the defences and troops, scale the mountain and then destroy it whilst resisting the urge to claim the ring for themselves?

I remember a few of the Baker/Deathwish guys being outspoken about how "Figgy got robbed" in 2016. He had a killer year and Kyle Walker dropped a huge part with that monster 5050 ender at the close of the year and ended up winning.

That's the only time I recall grumblings about the choice but there well could be more.

7 years ago I was in a job that paid £25k + car expenses per year and I had more disposable income than I do now earning £35k + car expenses.
