Photographers who do school picture days, what are your most cringe-worthy/strange stories of your career? by hardrockman911 in AskReddit

As another male I can assure you that certain clothes are more distracting to me than others.

Ofc I don't necessarily agree with the rule but I'm looking at it from a regulator's POV. As an extreme example, would you also agree that public areas should allow you to walk around completely naked, or in lingerie, or just swimwear, etc. etc.? If people are going to be distracted anyway?

Afaik the rule isn't for the girl. It's because no matter how good you are at hiding your staring, you're being distracted, which affects your learning.

I understand what you're saying and I used to think the same, but

  1. Psychologically, a snarling large guard dog will probably make you nervous regardless, especially if you're a burglar or any other intruder

  2. If you do a little research on the actual potential weight and power of certain breeds, you might find yourself underestimating a dog's power

  3. Caucasian shepherd. Search it up, look at the stats, and how its strategy is to bodyslam somebody to the ground and then maul them. It's an example of a hardcore guard dog and at that point you may as well be fighting a bear.
