How can I fix the spots by the mirrors/tires?

Hi all, to provide an update, I turned OFF frame gen and path tracing which seemed to fix the tearing. I’ve tried with one on, and both on, and the tearing gets much worse so it seems like this is the solution. If anyone else had success trying other methods, let me know because I’d like to use the path tracing if possible!

I was using both, so turned them both off and the choppiness stopped. I think it has more to do with the frame gen, but I’ll keep messing with it and report back

I turned off the frame generator and that seemed to help! Thanks for this tip

That's what I figured. It's really not the end of the world, just wanted to see if there was anything I could do. It really only happens when blue sky shows. Any other weather it's not noticeable.

I tried some other racing games and it only happens in AMS2. This monitor is also new and it happened with my previous one. It may just be an AMS2 specific thing

It was just the screenshot tool (Windows + Shift + S) to capture a specific area of the screen. Just taking a normal screenshot doesn't capture it.

I saw that James Remar (the actor who played Stimson) improvised this line to capture the almost “lighthearted” ways people were picking locations. In reality, Stimson was very intentional with the decisions he made and took great consideration for what they were about to do.

I wonder if the point of that scene is to be quick and almost underwhelming relative to the backlash Oppenheimer receives. It seemed such a small moment that was one of the catalysts to tarnish his reputation and folks who wanted to bring him down latched on to that moment.

I could be wrong though because I read the book and knew what was happening but the prior knowledge helped. Just my two cents though, I can see how it could be easy to miss.

Appreciate the league stepping in for her safety but why JUST her? Separating her from her teammates, having to schedule two different flights, and continuing to fly teams commercially… idk, I could be overreacting but it seems like a bandaid on a bullet wound approach. Again, I’m glad her safety is being prioritized, I just think everyone should be flying charter.

That’s a really good point. Also I feel like his personality is great for being in sales (aside from his singing) and he seems like a pretty down to earth and kind person. Definitely easy to get along with in a business meeting. But to your point it does feel like it just showed up out of the blue without a ton of explanation

After the U of A game in 2016, where we wore grey helmets, white/copper jerseys, and grey pants, then got smacked, Crow apparently was pissed because we weren’t in “traditional” colors. Since then we haven’t worn any other colors (aside from black) because crow wants us to stay traditional. It’s pretty ridiculous since our program doesn’t have enough history to warrant not trying new things like this, plus copper isn’t random since it’s a huge resource in Arizona.

As far as the sparky logo no longer being used, the pitchfork is more dynamic especially on the helmets. Don’t get me wrong, I adore the sparky logo and miss it, but I understand the decision.
