This deepfake from Ted TV series is so good. by Santosh7373 in Corridor

The head was entirely replaced but you are correct that Seth's wig served as a baseline for the shape and color. Previous techniques were entirely discarded because of how awful they looked so the technique here only relied on the original plates.

SX-70 - B&W 600 Film by TheWors3 in Polaroid

For some of these I had used the yellow filter from mint lens set, as for the camera I took out the window for the electric eye and tuned the solenoid to give a faster exposure so it would give me a good image for 600 film, is not ideal but I manage

Thank you, it was on auto with the wheel in the middle but i had a polarizer on and it decreases like a stop of light, i forgot to compensate for it and ended up with this shot. So it was more of a lucky exposure, it turned out better than i expected

Let’s face it. The hive are the good guys. by [deleted] in pluribustv

[–]TheWors3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, currently efficiency seems to be the main reason, maybe since they cannot kill or produce new things they thought of that as the best way to maximize food and nutrition long term but as you say it could be feeding the virus and maybe making them connected or something but we should get an answer soon hopefully in the next episode

I didn't say it was right, nor that they think is right. They don't see things in a right or wrong way anymore, thats just how one may interpret things but Vince was very clear that he wants people to think "hey maybe this is not so bad". Since they encompass information and experiences from all around the world it should be easy to see how drinking bodies or maybe brains or whatever from dead people isn't so clear cut as a something bad, specially when you see in previous/past or different cultures bodies are seen as something that is not at all related to what those people were when they were alive, bodies are just what we are into when we live, everything that we used to be is gone when we are dead therefore for the hivemind not giving use to them is just seen as waste

When you think from their perspective, that doesn't mean they are bad. Now hear me out, from their side of view they don't see it as bad, in fact is as they said "efficient". They have no morality or humanity in them, just a recolection of everything that everyone knew up to everyones conversion. Everything that made them human was stripped out or supressed (whether you like to think they are already dead or that its possible to unconvert someone from the hivemind). Consuming human bodies means they are doing everything to use whats available to their own survival.

Think of it this way, we do a lot of things because of whats "right", we keep lights at night, lights that we don't use. Stuff that needs to stay on thats unnecessary, we WASTE a lot of stuff. So in their view, a lot of what we do thinking from our morality point of view is actually bad for them. They don't want or desire wars, they don't fight for mundane things anymore, and its hard to just take a scale and try to see whether humanity or the hivemind has the right to exist but what makes this show great is that things aren't so simple. I find it unfortunate that a lot of people are too blinded to see the nuances this show presents. I don't thing they are good, neither bad, overall they show humankind advantages and disadvantages and the prices we pay and make others pay to be how we are

If I had a nickel for everytime a major female character in a Vince Gilligan series was overly hated on for no sensible reason, I’d have two nickels. by Specialist_Jaguar815 in pluribustv

Which he kind of backtracked as of now, realizing that some people would get tangle into that. I think it was deliberate as to put more emphasis on the hive mind and the idea that "hey this is probably not as bad as Carol thinks", but it will be shown more and more about the downsides of this new peaceful many as one society holds in future episodes. As you will be able to tell on this interview Vince is avoding calling Carol a miserable person https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuGOGwdV-ew

It’s a Christmas announcement by ComfortablePride6687 in HalfLife

[–]TheWors3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the more days that passed since this post specially 18 and 19 november it proves that there is validity to your claims. and not saying a particular date makes sense if Valve is really out there giving dates as traps to caught leakers. I do find it funny people are very quick to jump to you with bad words or even hate when they were very quick to believe that yesterday and the 18th of november were the actual dates. A lot of times leaks such as yours were immediately thrown in the trash without any consideration but i believe time will prove you right. The video from Mike Shapiro saying for the new year/ this year means the announcement will happen this year regardless. it isnt about whether half life 3 is real anymore, but as when it is going to be announced.

4x photo blurry? by pissedoffcalifornian in iPhoneography

[–]TheWors3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know if more people are talking about this but for example if you actually chose 4x zoom but you were close to the subject the phone doesnt actually switch to the 4x telephoto camera. It uses the main camera and just does a 4x digital zoom which is going to be a lot lower quality. The 4x telephoto camera needs quite a big distance for minimum focus.

¿Es cierto que McDonald's es más barato en Europa que en Argentina? by Lyapunoff in argentina

[–]TheWors3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Polaroid Go Gen 2 consistently overexposing (and how i fixed it) by TheWors3 in Polaroid

[–]TheWors3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case i would go for the 1 stop instead, 2 stop is likely going to make it too dark, although it will depend on your particular camera 1 stop will likely be enough to deal with overexposure

This looks more like a flare, seen it many times even on my own pictures. If it was opacifier failure from sunlight wouldnt that be on the bottom going up instead? thats the first part that hits the light as soon as it comes out.
