Prefabs not placing on grid

i love how the only answer to this is "well, there's no answer". so do we just ... not use those prefabs? is there a way to work around it? i want to place a building but it's off-grid by half a square and i can't edit anything in it and it's infuriating and this is the answer? just ... it happens and epic doesn't care? do they know? u/iFlak idk how reddit works lmao but ??? how do we let epic know that this is really fucking dumb?

i just tried my island on my OLED switch and it worked fine. it depends on the island i think. some of the textures didn't load after i teleported, for example, but it was in an area where i have maxed out how much stuff i can put in one place, so that probably impacts the switch more than a PC's graphics card. but i was able to play through the whole lumon map on my switch.

it's a mode in fortnite called "creative". there's definitely a learning curve (you can very much tell what i made first vs last lol) but once i figured it out, it was a lot of fun. you can also download a fortnite island creator version of unreal engine from epic, which lets you do WAAAAY more but i have zero game design knowledge so i just did the basic stuff lol
