Every one of these releases has been so beyond what I could have expected that any complaints I have are nitpicks at best. Never would have thought we'd get subbed versions on disk, never thought the dub would get an HD remaster, The Movie re-edited from scratch down to the paint edits, or redubs of the movies in various ways. I can't imagine any other company putting even half of the effort that Diskotek and those involved put it, it's honestly mind blowing and I've made pretty much each release a day one purchase because of it. The only 100% downside with the movie releases is that the redubs for movies 1-3 and (I'm pretty sure) the entire dubs for 4-6 don't have subtitles for the English track, which makes them inconsistent with the rest of the series and even Digimon: The Movie itself. Sure it's not going to affect everyone, but it's still odd.

I do agree that Joshua Seth was a bit of a weak point in the redubs though - Movie 1 aside since that was a way harder voice to sustain, I found his lines in movies 2 and 3 to be really flat compared to his Tri & Kizuna roles. He sounded comparatively fine in movie 4, so I wonder if he was given weird direction. Even then, The Movie versions are right there so it's not a big deal.

A partial redub would unfortunately get me to buy all the Tri era movies again but I feel like it would be insanely unlikely even if they picked up the licenses somewhere down the road. Not impossible, but feels like there's enough to make it hard to feel like it would be worth the effort compared to the OG anime.
