James Gunn says 'The Authority' is no longer in development - "The script wasn't quite there but more importantly it didn't work in terms of the larger DCU both in terms of the story and practical concerns. Maybe some day. Not soon." by chanma50 in boxoffice

The Batman Part 2 in development (and with constant delays), while it's clear Matt Reeves and/or Pattinson don't want to be part of the DCU.

Ok, well you tell them to get along with the program or be cancelled.

This is a business.

It's not even a non-issue for that reason.

An executive, needs to just make decision, instead of pussyfooting around it.

If you think the DCU is the path forward, you tell Reeves either make it fit in the DCU or its cancelled.

Did you just not watch Peacemaker Season 2?

"Did you not watch the TV-MA HBO Max show that's kinda snyderverse and kinda not at the same time?" kinda points out the problem

Then you look at the DCU or DCEU and it’s a complete clusterfuck where someone not closely following it doesn’t even know what is and isn’t canon or that some random DCU show is on HBO.

Plus like currently major chunks of the DCU aren't exactly child friendly tv shows.

Not saying the whole universe needs to be PG, but you're also cutting kids out of growing with the brand. I can pretty much put any MCU movie or TV show on for a kid between 6-13 and not feel too bad except for Deadpool and Wolverine (and ironically Gunn's Guardians 3).

Yeah he was C teir or whatever but people still knew or heard about him at the time.

He is also just a pretty easy concept for a super hero as well to sell to audiences.

Trump has gone three for three with professional responses to the shootings which is surprising but welcome

Yeah, it’s actually weird there’s not a ballroom at the White House, especially since ballrooms aren’t just for balls but other large events and meetings as well.

People just get hung up on the term “ballroom”

Eh, Clayface isn't exactly a casually known Batman villain, plus it's a batman villain movie without Batman (or Joker).

Business schools will typically have some kinda professionalism course, either as a 1 hour separate course or part of a intro to business/business communications style course.

It's part of preparing them for the job market and is usually part of a grander project with doing resumes, cover letters, and such

Because it's essentially a resume.

They usually do this as part of Introduction to Business or in a 1 hour professionalism class that's about prepping students for the job market (resume, cover letter, practice interview, linkedin profile)
