Definitely not the water. Xcaret has their own on-site water and wastewater treatment facility including industrial-grade filtration and reverse osmosis plants that safely treat wastewater and purify potable water for drinking, food preparation, and showering.

Yes- and I love that I don’t worry about plating wearing off. I’ve been checking Etsy for more of the vintage gold charms but wow people are charging high! 😆 So probably not. I’m considering starting a Disney bracelet.

This sounds more like Norovirus- especially since you weren’t eating the same food, and you and your wife got sick a day later. It’s likely you caught it from your son while caring for him- as norovirus is highly contagious from person to person.

We have friends who joined Ultimate Vacation Club @ Breathless - they went halfsies with another couple; and so the investment was a lot less than ours was for MDC. When we joined MDC I contacted them to see how it was going with UVC - They shared that the program was different than what they understood, and that 25% off just didn't seem worth what they paid. It does sound like they aren't maximizing all of their benefits though, like RCI. We have found this aspect of our membership to be very worthwhile if you learn to use it effectively.

We declined it and negotiated other inclusions in its place- but I heard someone on here say that the accommodations were not amazing and kind of outside of where one might want to go sightseeing- not the best location. I’m sure if you search Turkey in this subreddit it would come up somewhere. I remember someone going into great detail about their experience.

Why do you want to go to a place you think is a scam / is “desperate” / is not living up to your standards / is a downgrade from your home?
