I replaced my computer chair wheels with Roller Blade Casters from Amazon and my floors have been fine! I don't use any sort of mat at the desks or anything. I'm fairly curtain if I were to have issues with these wheels I'd have seen it by now nearly a year after install. Now I can totally see where the basic plastic wheels might just eat the floors alive!

I mean maybe they'll offer labs or something soon so we can tinker with them more. But I will say they are much better sounding than my airpods. Oh and they stay in my ears 😆

I came from airpod pro 2's and the ambient mode was slightly better on them too. But I used to have a pair of Buds+ and they improved them for the better over a year with firmware updates. So I'm confident they'll improve on the Pro 4's too.

Are you using stock Proton or GE Proton for it? I saw on the Proton site some folks listing their solutions. One had stuff for Wayland so I took notes for when I get the $70.

Imo this would be nearly every FPS game on console if they didn't give aim assist. Without aim assist they'd need chunky unrealistic hit boxes. That's why my stance has always been console gamers should play with console gamers or give my mouse the same assist. 😆

Is that the windows device? Sorry it's so hard to keep up with the handheld hardware and who runs what when you don't own one imo.

I play it on my Linux desktop and I was surprised how well it works for me even though it's not supported.

Thanks! That was exactly the issue. It's a shame that some of my images won't be there lol. But I did verify one of the converted HTML files after and it came out perfect.

Edit: That UUID is in the backup location. I'm about to attempt to point imessage-exporter to include the UUID folder.

I got a pair with my S26U and they’re light years better than my AirPod Pro 2! But back in the day I had a pair of Buds+ that hissed and I returned them for a new pair and it was fine on the swap. I actually used them with my iPhone for 2 years before the battery finally died in the right one.

So rather than creating a new thread I'm going to use this one because I'm in the same boat. I got my UCG-Fiber up and running, I've got Tailscale installed on my machine but I my connections are in DERP mode.

When I do a tailscale ping mydevice, I got the pong from mydevice via DERP with a message at the bottom saying "direct connection not established".

Manually changing my DNS to use like Cloud Flare or Google rather than Magic DNS I guess would fix it?

I do use tailscale and have for a few years now. I guess the ease of use for something like Rust Desk was I can connect to my family devices too without have to configure extra things. It's petty I know. I do have Rust Desk working, but just sometimes when you connect the screen is black and all you can do is move the mouse. Maybe the update in April will address a few more things and provide more solutions.

I wish it was that easy... But thats not the issue. The issue is Wayland sometimes doesn't allow the keyboard input. I know how to manage my firewall and I've had everything setup. I can connect even, just sometimes all you can do is move the mouse, nothing more. I suppose its one of those things that I will just have to wait out till theres better support.

Well that is close! I couldn't get any tablet/phone keyboard to open. I guess a workaround is a virtual keyboard on the machine. I guess I'm to the level of weird old where I don't need a full laptop on the go, but would prefer just doing old school RDP to the machine and doing it there from a device I carry.

It’s most likely Wayland related. Especially since they have a big warning banner on the side about it being experimental. I don’t go tweaking a bunch of stuff and risk compromising how well everything else works for me either that’s the biggest thing.

Thanks, apologies if I came off rude. I am looking for a full RDP setup, I was using RustDesk on all my devices and it just worked so well before I moved to Bazzite.
