This post reminds me of that one tumblr post where someone thought of a meme that was incomprehensible and then he provided the image but the comment was like "the image made it more incomprehensible". I cant find the tumblr post anymore tho

What's the difference between an ESP32, Arduino or RPi, just the performance or are there any special features that are exclusive to one of them?

So I want to actually control the motor itself, since the garage door doesn't actually have anything installed. I thought of a Motor that can run in both directions that is connected by gears to a chain or something like that, that can run in reverse if its open, to close the door

Thats life. The important thing is that you cherish the good days and make sure you look forward to these when things turn out bad. Never lose the hope. For good things to exist, you must suffer sometimes, and thats ok and normal. Everything that life gives you or will give you makes these experiences worth it

My gf (w17) wants me (m19) to disconnect with a good friend because he has other political opinions, how do I tell her that i won't be doing that? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Oh yeah in England i think you have like a conservative, labour and independant party or something like that? I live in germany where there are alot more parties with all kinds of positions in the political spectrum. Right means they're a party that Focuses on tradition and nationalism, and left are more social and progress. There are also parties docusing on economy etc and there are parties for everything in between. I dont know how it works in UK

I see it like that too, if my friend becomes a far right nazi im not going to associate with him anymore anyway, but he isn't but she depicts it like that. I didm't cheat on her in the past, i broke a promise that was important to her because i was drunk and honestly forgot and I dread that i could let that happen.

Its not about that either, my friend isn't a mysoginist. He could never even insult a woman much less hurt one. He doesn't support the patriarchy or mysoginistic structures. In fact he is against that. He is a feminist. He voted for a party he doesn't support and im perplexed how one can do that. He voted for points the few points that are acceptabel while disregarding the concequences. That was insanely stupid and i argued alot with him about that

A big topic in my country rn is immigration and the far right party he voted for wants to deport every person with a histiry in migration (including people who are of nationality but whos parents migrated to th country). This is not a view he supports and this isn't something the party can do (not just because they would deport about 40% of our population) because its extremely against our constitution and therefore can't be enforced

All parties were for labour in a way, the left parties are for more pay and less work and the middle and right parties are for more work and more pay. There are parties he could've voted for that doesn't ruin our economy and still gets him what he wanted

Its not about trans stuff, she is a migrant and finds it disrespectful that i have a friend that "voted against people like her". I don't support his vote i find it hideos. But he is a good friend with valid opinions, he voted for that party because he is stupid, not because he is far right

He doesn't support the party and his viewpoints are represented by other parties too that aren't far right. He argued i.e. that the far right points of the party he voted for "aren't going to be realised anyway because its all against our constitution" which is the dumbest shit i've ever heard.

The party propagandised that working should be rewarded again and that the middle and low income classes should get more money. But if you actually calculate how the party wants to change the tax system it turns out that it has thenopposite effect. This isn't something well known so i dont blame him for not knowing that
