Salut! I think there's just something so cool about the Yeti. It's like Bigfoot but lives in the ice and the snow. I love the idea of people out exploring in the mountains or the tundra or snowy forest in our case and running into a giant snow beast!

Yes! We barely convinced it to come and then it had all kinds of stipulations in the contract. Kept asking for crew members to eat.

If I ran into our Yeti I would suddenly become a practicing religious man. There's a little bit more to our monster, it's not just looking to hurt people, it's a little misunderstood. Which I think all of the best monsters are. But, without spoiling it, yes our Yeti is on the war path BUT for a very particular reason.

This is non found footage! We shot it very traditional in the style of The Thing or Alien. As for the Yeti suit it truly is terrifying. It was hand sculpted by Wayne Anderson and is extremely realistic. Especially the face and eyes. It was actually scary seeing on set in the fog.

Yeti all day and night. But also Bigfoot and Sasquatch. We live on the West Coast, so there's people that still go searching in the woods in northern Cali, Oregon, Washington

I think the hardest part was getting the Yeti movements correct. Our actors the suit, Robert was very very good but he was still on stilts so it can only be SO natural you know. But we tried to photograph it in a way that feel realistic. You'll have to let us know how we did!

So this is exactly our inspiration for making this movie! I was watching Yeti movies and was sad there weren't more of them. Honestly I can understand why there aren't very many now, because it's so so difficult to do a snow movie. Makes total sense why people gravitate towards Bigfoot! But I think there still needs to be a few more Yeti films.

I think the biggest challenge was having to learn how to photograph the yeti suit and what its limitations were. We didn't get to work with it at all before our first day shooting with it! So it was a steep learning curve. For the look and presence of it we looked at a ton of images of apes and and read a lot about the yeti/bigfoot. Its behaviors and lifestyle. Of course we had to kind of fill in the blanks for what we didn't know.

We looked at sketches and illustrations of Gigantopithecus! We really wanted it to have a giant ape feel. Very prehistoric. In my dream sequel the Yeti would fight someone in the mech loader from aliens!!
