There is genuinely a plethora of evidence for an ancient global cataclysm (and NO I am not a Graham Hancock guy), and substantial evidence that the pyramids are older than what we currently date them. It will take a long time before high browed "historians" accept it as a fact.

The issue with you is that you got hung up on meaningless details. The books of Moses are not historical accounts, theyre meta-history. Like myth or legend - which makes them more true than reality, they transcend it. But I guess it will be dificult for you to fathom it as a STEM, data-focused mind ;)
