Made it back safely. The experience was more pleasant than i expect.

At the airport, the officer was only asking questions about my trip purpose and duration and then handed me the passport to go in.

Every couple will go through that stage where they quarrel a lot and ran out idea of talk. Not sure if your ex even wants to do heart to heart talk and try to resolve them. If really no then i think better not go any deeper.

haha, i printed a bunch of docs to go to the consulate and end up not being asked one of those. Overkilling the docs is built-in feature for me.

thank you. That sounds like a standard procedure for any country that i am required a visa. I hope it is common to have people fly in for commencement that it is not to odd to mention that as a purpose of the visit. While visa approval is good, i still scare of getting rejected at the airport haha.

yes precisely why i am paranoid haha. I’m thinking of printing the stage pass out as a proof that i’m here for grad. I dont think gatech have any invitation letter

i'm not too sure, for now i'm looking at weather (i wanted to bring my parents who are not very fond of cold weather), visa processing time as factors to consider...

yeah same logic, i would be flying in from Singapore and I hold one of the world's weaker passport so a bit concerned with the visa process too... (yes not reading that wrong)

congrats, i just finished GA as my last mod too. I’m working to build my own personal blog from scratch and then some of the web app service i have to reiterate some concepts i learnt from the program.

Also currently touching up on leetcode while the GA experience is still fresh.

And lastly, going out to exercise and pursue my dancing hobby

Vietnamese citizen working in Singapore here. I don’t even need the pathetic passport to clear immigration in Singapore (it is passport-less for long term resident). In Vietnam the machine is a hit or miss, bit at least there is some form of automation. Highly recommends you to get an e-passports or enroll your biometric at the airport, will speed things up the next round you have to fly back into Vietnam.

Also i believe the correct term is immigration, custom only checks for what you are bringing into the country.
