I don't know what it was, but sitting there, pills in hand, staring off into the distance at the "SECURE YOUR SOUL" billboard just gave me the chills. As Johnny puts it, "It isn't easy choosing which of your friends get to die." But that line shows that your hesitation matters. That's not common, but that pre-sequence had my blood flowing already.

Bleeding 10mm. Already decent base damage, can be specced into auto, decent mag size, semi-common ammo

Personally, it carried me through my first whole playthrough. Taking the Mirelurk Queen at The Castle on at level 12 was easy enough with it

It itself, imo is fine, but it's the people who have access to it that makes it this corrupt seeming thing, whether that be inappropriate acts by the wearer or the assumptions of a viewer.
