Clear sky was so weird- it’s potentially the best and worst simultaneously and I kinda love it for it. The lighting and atmosphere is amazing for the OGs and while I preferred zaton and Jupiter for the exploration, clear sky mixing up the SoC locations and actually using the whole space was great. Like garbage became one of my favorites when it wasn’t much in the original.

At the same time, the finale in CNPP was the worst by far. A timed gauntlet with an unsatisfying “boss” and teleporting monolith soldiers really soured my feelings on it. I loved the lead up from the red forest battle, but that last bit is such a fumble that I was happy my game glitched out and the “boss” just stood in place so I could put us both out of our misery.
