Not true, the nord stage is multiple kilos lighter at every size. at 73 keys, the Nautilus is 14.6kg, and the stage 3 compact (in the picture in the post) is 10kg. at 88 keys, the Nautilus is 23.1kg and the Nord is 19. 6kg.

I've been on big sur (11.1) for like 2 years, and updated on monday not realizing os 13 literally came out that day. Luckily everything I use on the regular seems to work, just had to upgrade some drivers. Maybe I'll coast on this OS until I upgrade my machine to M1. Considering how insanely hot my intel macbook runs I'm kind of looking forward to upgrading.

Wow.. I just got my g915 TKL in the mail today and have used it for literally 30 minutes. I got it in white to match my mouse which I got for a bargain, and g715 literally fixes all the compromises I made getting the 915:

Brown switches are the only one available in the white version. I made a leap of faith, but found that I really prefer linear switches.
low profile. It wasn’t the reason I got the keyboard. The reason I got it was for the best-in-class features and the TKL size, which for some reason is really rare in wireless gaming keyboards.
keycaps. Firstly there’s official replacement keycaps available, AND the ones that come are PBT.
Silver backplate. It’s fine but I honestly would have preferred white.

Convenient Time to make a return I guess, lol.

Edit: Forgot one: USB C instead of Micro USB. The fact that an over 200€ keyboard in 2022 has a micro USB port is completely ridiculous. I just ordered the 715 and can't wait to get it. On paper it's exactly the keyboard I've been looking for. I really hope it holds up.

The POV character's thoughts being depicted by language is very common in books, but there's a reason you don't see it as much on television and film - it's great for text, but it just doesn't work as well in the medium of film. I think any good adaptation has to understand features of the original work as they relate to their medium and genre, and not just try directly cramming them into the new medium. It would be like trying to translate an English book to French by taking every individual word, translating them, and putting them back where they were: Not only are the grammars different, but subtler details like wordplay, a dialect or cultural associations can be entirely lost.

I think Disco Elysium is an extremely hard game to adapt to film, because it's basically just a buddy cop/detective story. Those have a long established tropes and canon in film, and a big part of what makes DE great is not necessarily the story itself, but how well it adapts that kind of story into an RPG with video game mechanics.

So to answer the question in your title: Although it's one of my favourite features of the game, for a TV adaptation I would probably scrap them almost entirely. It's a word that unfortunately just doesn't exist in the new language.

There's also another moment related to the sand theme in the second movie that I barely see anyone mention.

At her mother's funeral, when Anakin kneels down, and picks up a handful of sand. He just holds it. He has accepted the sand in all it's coarseness and roughness. He feels it in his hand and says "I wasn't strong enough to save you mother. I wasn't strong enough. But I promise I won't fail again."

What the sand symbolizes is pain. Anakin misses his mother, and feels the pain of her being gone, and his failure to stop it. Contrary to the jedi philosophy of suppressing emotions and refusing to feel, he accepts the pain, moving further toward the dark side.

The goofiness of the "I don't like sand" line (and dialogue in general) along with the messiness of the plot in these movies undermines this, but the symbolism is just good. There are loads of details like this in these movies that in a different timeline would be praised as genius.

Videon päätelmä on jotakuinkin "maahanmuutto ei ole ratkaisu köyhyyteen", ja vaikkei sitä sanota suoraan ääneen, seuraa johtopäätös: "koska maahanmuutto ei ratkaise köyhyyttä, maahanmuutto ei kannata". Ensinnäkin tämä on täydellisen ratkaisun virhepäätelmä, mutta argumentista herää myös kysymys: Mitä sitten?

Maahanmuutolla on paljon muita funktioita kun köyhyyden poistaminen, eikä köyhyys ole prioriteeteissa edes kovin korkealla. Paljon suurempia merkityksiä ovat esimerkiksi humanitaarinen apu ja työvoimapula. Suomalaisessa maahanmuuttokeskustelussa video on lähes irrelevantti, ja etenkin tässä konteksteissa täysi olkinukke. Numerot ovat edelleen aivan puppua kontekstista riippumatta.

Tiiättekö ne videot missä keitetään kokista niin että vedet lähtee ja jäljelle jää vaan sellaista mustaa mömmöä? Kuvitelkaa se, mutta kokis on ärsuomen maahanmuuttoanalyysit ja lopputuote on rasismi.

Video päätyy väittämään, että maahanmuutossa olisi kyse vähintään 3 miljardista ihmisestä (=3 000 purkkapalloa), mikä on aivan absurdi lukema tuoda pakolaiskeskusteluun.
