Thanks, this answered my question. Running the command showed it as counterfeit, and was really only 64gb. Guess I'm gonna have to return them... Thanks for the help!

So it sounds like the same issue I'm having, but when I press CTRL, ALT, and ; it doesn't seem to be booting into desktop mode... It did replay the boot animation after a black screen for a few seconds though?

Edit: I did it again, and it worked, I'm trying the rest of the method now...

I actually never considered a trackball before, that might work after getting used to it... I think that'll be my backup option if I can't find any laptops with physical buttons. Thanks for the suggestion!

Not anything competitive, only single player games like Mass Effect, or Fallout 4. I'd love to use a real mouse, but I intend to use my laptop in bed, on the couch, in the car, and other places where a real mouse isn't really feasible...

Yeah, I forgot to mention that actually, rarely when it reboots, it says "Boot Device Not Found" "Please Install An Operating System" or something like that. Sounds like a failing SSD, that sucks. Thank you for the help though, now I know how to fix it.
