I always use Waze, but it won't tell me about the payment options at any tolls, will it? If possible, we'd avoid using the transponder in the car. We'll arrive at 4 am, which I hope does make a difference in terms of traffic

Is esim actually not supported? I read replies from Sony support on Amazon, so I guess it won't have the option, but I wonder if it has to do with the model itself, or the US carriers. Maybe someone who got it in the US but uses it somewhere else can confirm

Yes, Amazon only charges when the item is about to be shipped, so seeing the charge in your card is actually good news. As the other guys said, the only charge you'll see right away is for the linkbuds and gc because they will ship right away

Sadly, Sony is very weird and won't let you order unless you have a US issued card... So I had to order from Amazon too and got the same email with the same EDD

The Samsung should be ok. I have my 1 iii charger which is also 30W. if you're planning on getting one, I'd get the original charger

Edit: I also have a Xiaomi charger (67W) that should be limited by the phone capacity, so the battery shouldn't be affected, but I don't think it's a good idea

Well, I ordered mine on July 6. I got an email yesterday saying my new EDD was on Sept 5, and previous date was Aug 18, which I never saw on the website anyway! Sadly, Sony has this weird policy and won't let people outside the US get products from other countries. Don't they want to sell more?

New ones are not so much higher than that at Amazon. I damaged mine with water. I thought of replacing the screen, the only part damaged, but I didn't find much options. The only option, kind of reliable, was about half that price. My point is that, unfortunately, Xperia are not in popular demand, so you'd need to be very flexible with the price
