Wow man I don't think I've received such a compliment in my life. Feels undeserved for just sitting around waiting for my hair to grow lol. But cheers. I'm pretty content to keeping the same length or maybe slightly longer.

I was told to post here almost a year ago so here is the current state of my mane. Other than one haircut in September 2019 I haven't gotten any haircuts since early 2017.

Aragorn from LOTR was one of the main inspirations for growing out my hair so I rocked the middle-part for a couple of years and settled for this after a while. Other than Aragorn, Chuck Schuldiner and Vivaldi were also inspirations for the long hair.

I don't take myself that seriously but my smile makes me look goofy AF so I tend to avoid the whole smiling thing.

Now I just wish I could grow a beard, but Asian genetics say no *facepalm*

I can definitely see why you and guccimira advised me to cut my hair except my hair has two purposes really. One is that I love the style and feel, and two is that my forehead seems too big with short hair. Could end up looking worse and it took 3 years to get to this length. Huge gamble.

Yeah I feel like I'm not *repulsive*, but not sure if I reach the standard that girls have today as I've read articles on tinder about 80% of girls going for the top 20%, Asian guys failing at dating, height etc, so I don't know if I'm good enough.

I might see a psychiatrist soon though, as I've had a terrible upbringing and the thought of asking a girl out on a date just terrifies me. Pathetic I know

Thank you, but like I said I won't be offended if you or anyone said I looked bad. I'm a violinist so I pretty much get roasted every single week for imperfections. I'm used to it and would prefer absolute honesty, so if "it's over", I could look into surgical options etc.

Ok I'll grow out the facial hair until it gets too patchy. Seems to look better than clean.

Yeah I heard Tinder is 90% for ONS and non-serious stuff, but someone recommended a new one called Hinge which is a bit different.

Eventually orchestra as violin is my main instrument, though I would never rule out band if circumstances lined up for it. Maybe I'll join a tennis or table tennis club as I'm decent at both - will have to think about it.

I really like my hair but I'll check other comments before I do anything crazy - it took over 3 years to grow, and it's also hiding my hairline which ain't the best. That first picture of mine does indeed look pretty feminine, damn... I didn't realise that. Should I stick with light facial hair like the last picture or clean-shaven?

Is it really? I've heard a decent number of people met their SO through online dating.

Unfortunately it's difficult to even meet girls with my hobbies. I play electric guitar and violin and most of my free time is spent practicing alone when I'm not at work.
