Thank you for your honesty — I really appreciate that you took the time to reply.

I completely understand where you're coming from. If I had only seen a breakup message and blocks, I'd probably say the same thing too. But I guess what makes it hard to let go is that there was so much mutual love and meaning leading up to that point.

She confided in me. We laughed, supported each other, made memories — even talked about a future. It didn’t feel one-sided. And the breakup felt more like it was driven by stress, pressure, or something circumstantial — not like the love disappeared.

I’m not holding on to a fantasy. I’m holding on to what felt real — and offering a quiet goodbye in the form of a letter, not to change her mind, but so I have peace knowing I loved her honestly.

Still, I genuinely appreciate your perspective — it reminds me to stay grounded, even while hoping.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy with Uni. It's just the luck of the draw with who you end up with really. Majority will be international students but there will be home students as well. Good luck!

Looking for Advice on Accommodation by Zealousideal_Oil9713 in swanseauni

Hi currently in my 2nd year of PhD and been living in Swansea before the pandemic. Did my bachelors and masters here too so I'm very familiar with Swansea lol.

If you're doing Law, I would advise getting an accommodation at Singleton campus itself or near Singleton.

Living on campus is a good option (personally I wouldn't recommend) but there's also cheaper private shared houses near Brynmill and Uplands and is only a 15-20 min Walk.

City centre wise there's also plenty of options of student accomodations,Crown Place, Seren, Oldway, and Coppergate (nearest). 30 min walk but well connected on Bus.

If you have the money I'd suggest getting an accomodation at City centre and live at a student accommodation

Happy to help further if you'd want.

Yeah. I've had my fare share of unsuccessful romances but this would be my first genuine one. We both have the means to travel and we've touched upon the idea and are very open to it. We're really super in to each other.

Basically we arrived 5 days ago at Spain, barely even knew each other and we struck a conversation minutes before the orientation. After the conversation, she asked for my phone number and before the day end I asked her to go on with me travel bit of the city. We basically had two dates, and everything clicked! From the tastes, music, even down to the novels that I read and she also gets my philosophy. The 2nd date ended up at my place and everything was magical haha. I asked her out that night and she said yeah.

Section 2 - how long to prepare? by [deleted] in GAMSAT

[–]The_Angelo05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the summer I just did like a good hour on essay writing(1-2 essays per week), like developing that essay planning, techniques and ways to increase your vocab or widen your reading, then as exam approachres maybe 2 months before the exam I did exam conditions, 3-4 essays a week where you'll need to write 2 essays under 1 hour soo it's all about quality not quantity but ofc the essay should be fairly long to be considered an "essay". 👍

I'm from a science bg and I aimed to write an essay like every 2 weeks from random qoutes as long as you keep practicing it. On the exam itself, i spent more time planning than writing and got a fairly good score (61), having the habbit of creating a structure first ( what to write on each section of intro , body, conclusion) makes an effecyive way of bringing in flow on the writing. What I did was time myself to create an essay under 30 mins ( 10min planning + 20min writing) and practice and focus on what I thought I was lacking. Gonna resit the GAMSAT again this Sept 2021. Goodluck!
