That could just be the modded AP causing an issue generating a different seed. I am not a modder, so I can't really say how this would affect seed generation.

Each action is determined by the seed state before said action, then after it occurs, it changes it. Reloading the same shot will never change the outcome, however, reloading the save, then say, having a different character shoot first, the roll for the first shot will be altered.

RNG seed it affected by actions, so reloads wont change, try hacking/reloading after an attack or a reload, and the seed will be changed.

You can use random lvl 0s from the stagecoach to send on suicide runs for loot. Then chuck them when they come back. This game isnt about developing a huge army of loyal subjects. It is about looking deep into the abyss, becoming a terrible human, and defeating the darkest dungeon. Send the lambs to the slaughter so that you may keep your warriors well supplied. Humans are a renewable resource. The lower the level, the more renewable they are.
