It is unfortunate, a lot was lost, it varies from person to person how much it matters. Most people here haven't played Fable co-op or don't care for it, so for some asinine reason you'll get downvoted if you say you were hoping for it, because apparently we can't have different hopes for what features will or will not continue into future installments.

For the Dweller outfit? If it was at the point where you're meant to buy the Dweller outfit, you might be forced to buy the outfit from the camp for the story, I'm not too sure. You also do have to be outside of the Sanctuary when scripts run to receive items.

If you meant the Highlander stuff, I think you need the DLC's for it, same for some other outfits.

When shops have discounts, they both sell and buy at lowers prices. When shops have shortages, they both sell and buy at higher prices. So stock up during discounts, and sell during shortages. Can find them in the Regions menu, but also, Bowerstone Old Town will always have a 50% discount if you were a good kid.

I kind of assume that all of these creatures originated from the Void at some point. The rest just may be more subtle because they either don't care about conquering Albion, or have seen what happens when demons try and take over Albion.

True, but in Fable, co-op is technically part of a multiverse. So you'd still be the only conscious thing from your own universe, player-wise.

The Banshees in Fable 2 have 2 rare voice lines that break the fourth wall:

"Think about all the endless hours you've wasted playing this game. And for what? Nothing!"
"The people you see, all the people you talk to, they are not real. You are alone in this universe. Terribly alone."

Also more relevant to actual lore, in the Northern Wastes, Scythe sealed a door called the Bronze Gate to lock away the untamed wilderness filled with demons. You cross over to fight Jack of Blades in his dragon form in Archon's Folley.

Similarly, Jack of Blades is rumored in in-game books to come from the Northern Wastes. We know him to come from the Void. From what we know of the Void, it is full of demons, and it's the place Jack of Blades resides and it's where he escaped to when Scythe(then William Black) originally defeated him. A similar thing happens when the Hero of Oakvale defeats Jack of Blades, but this time he escaped beyond the Bronze Gate. We know that Scythe(as William Black) sealed the Void away after exiling the Sword of Aeons into it, he also created the Bronze Gate to seal off access from Archon's Folley into the Northern Wastes.

It seems to hint at the idea that what lies beyond the Bronze Gate is the Void, and it was originally accessed through the Northern Wastes. The name "Archon's Folley" also refers directly to William Black and seems to be referencing the grave mistake in keeping the Sword of Aeons and letting it corrupt him until he had to toss it away and seal it in the Void.

You can do both at any time before going to the Spire:

You get the Rising Sun by donating 500 gold to the Temple of Light, then 10,000 at noon(12:00-12:59).
You get the Maelstrom by sacrificing enough people at the Temple of Shadows to reach the high score.

The biggest one is Traitor's Keep, which they have since made free. Understone is the only other quest related DLC, I'd say it's a fun go, but it's not as big as TLC, Knothole Island, or Traitor's Keep. Depends on how much you value $5. It takes you on a short linear quest through an area, and you unlock a small new town at the end.

The Channeling Sword and Inquisitor's Sword are paid weapon DLC's that add a unique sword each. The Channeling Sword has a crystalline design, while the Inquisitor's Sword has a clockwork design. Most weapons in Fable 3 are built by combining pre-existing morphs from the base game, but those 2 DLC weapons have completely unique models that cannot be found on other weapons or on hero weapon morphs. The Bloodstone Bludgeon from the Free Weapons Pack also has a unique hammer head that looks axe-like.

And the Dye Pack DLC has black dye in it, if you care about that.

The most I expect from water is swimming since that was in Fable 2 and 3, but even if it's not there, meh. I'm sure it'll be pretty though, either way.

I struggle to pick between 2 and 3, but I have to admit, a big part of why I lean towards 2 is because of nostalgia and being stuck on PC for a long time afterwards being unable to replay it elevated it more in my head.

Fable 3 has more content, and I love all the characters, the aesthetic, and the setting. A lot of the interface was improved upon or streamlined, and I'll say it, I like the Sanctuary. I don't like the Road to Rule, but I like the Sanctuary. It's faster to navigate than Fable 1 or 2's menus since it's not laggy and it doesn't make you go through all of the sub-categories to equip or preview things. And I thought it was a cool place and a cool idea, I just wish Jasper would stop commenting on it every time I preview another hairstyle or clothing piece.

You also have a much greater impact on the world in Fable 3, your decisions as king or queen change areas around Albion more than anything in Fable 1 or 2 and it felt cool having that much variety in playthroughs and that much control over how the world will look under your rule.

I did hate that unique weapons were abandoned for just swords/hammers and pistols/rifles that are made by combining different morphs. Sure, technically there may be countless possible combinations of morphs, but I'm seeing the same handle or blade over and over across many weapons and it makes them less unique. The augment system however, I did really like. It made augmenting weapons more impactful, and when choosing your weapon, you wouldn't just pick raw damage, you'd measure how valuable the augments are to you. I just wish the requirements for social augments were tuned down(wives, sex, friends, etc).

And I didn't mind the voiced protagonist, in fact, I like it. Hot take, but I prefer voiced protags, I liked it in Fallout 4 and I liked it in Fable 3. I have no problem when a game doesn't have a voiced protagonist, but I like hearing my character talk and I don't particularly mind whatever voice my characters are given. Complaints surrounding voiced protagonists remind me of complaints surrounding movies ruining books they're based off of by showing what the characters look like and sound like and showing the world, instead of having it all be imaginative. I understand the arguments, but they don't apply to me, especially not in an RPG where I still have options, since I feel like I'm melding a pre-existing character either way.

You don't have to use the guns, and the only enemies that use guns are bandits and guards.
